On 2nd November, the first edition of Smart City Expo & World Congress in Barcelona came to an end with a total attendance of 6,160 people, 2,082 of whom were exhibitors. 42% of the visitors to the fair came from outside Spain, which placed the Congress at a new international reference point.
The congress received 290 exhibitors from all over the world who discussed the challenges for the future of the so-called “intelligent cities”. The concept of smart city was born from the need to transform cities, by means of technology, into spaces that are more habitable and sustainable.

Furthermore, several experts from the Group participated in various sessions at the Congress where they discussed their experience with intelligent projects.
The Managing Director of Adasa, Albert Molina, gave his views on Intelligent Water Management Systems.
