Egatel, a company in the COMSA EMTE Technology business, participated from 13-17 September at IBC Amsterdam (Holland), the leading European broadcasting exhibition. The company presented its latest developments in the broadcasting industry, which includes Doherty technology, capable of increasing the performance of transmitters by 42 %, optimizing energy consumption and operating costs.
From its stand, Egatel exhibited its range of liquid and air cooled transmitters, as well as other solutions for the transmission of analogue and digital signals for radio and television. In its 2013 edition, IBC had about 53,000 visitors from over 170 countries and a total of 431 speakers.
Participation at IBC is part of the internationalization strategy of Egatel, present in major broadcasting exhibitions worldwide. So far this year the company has participated in Broadcast Asia (Singapore) and NAB (USA), two major events in the industry.
