Egatel, a COMSA EMTE group company specialising in digital radio and television broadcasting systems, has obtained the highest qualification in the 2015 Ardán report, a ranking system developed by the Consortium of the Zona Franca de Vigo which evaluates R&D&i in Galician companies.
The report analyses different aspects related to innovation, such as type of project, investment, economic return, and the internationality or productivity of the company in relation to R&D&i. In this regard, Egatel is the only company to have been distinguished with the Gold category, the highest category considered in the study.
Founded in 1992, Egatel is a benchmark company in the international broadcasting market, through the development and supply of radiofrequency systems for the transmission of TV and radio signals. Since the company’s inception, R&D&i has been a strategic pillar of its activity, and in 2014 the company participated in innovation projects at national and European level worth more than a million euros.
