The Confederation of Employers of Galicia (CEG) organized in Santiago de Compostela, May 15th, a conference on business opportunities in Turkey. Egatel played an active role as a business leader in the Ottoman country.
Egatel’s commercial director, José Manuel Mariño, explained the successful case of the renewal of the Turkish analogue television network. The project, undertaken in 2008, was to provide 93 1KW UHF analog transmitters (dual drive settings). During the CEG meeting the Turkish Ambassador to Spain also took the opportunity to highlight the important role that the COMSA EMTE group undertakes in the Ottoman country through projects such as the Ankara subway extension.
Continuing its policy of quality and customer service Egatel organized last March a training session at the headquarters of ‘Turkish Public Radio and Television’ (TRT) in Ankara. It was attended by 22 engineers, managers and technicians from TRT.
As part of its international strategy Egatel attended, for the eleventh consecutive year, the NAB fair which was held 16th to 19th April in Las Vegas (United States). Among the innovations that the company presented their range of transmitters with liquid cooling stood out.
