Aritex strengthens its partnership with Airbus in France

The European aircraft manufacturer Airbus has awarded ARITEX the contract for the design, development and implementation of the assembly line for a structural part of the A350 XWB aircraft. Specifically, the Badalona company will develop the keel beam at the Nantes factory (France), part of the fuselage which includes the undercarriage of the aircraft. Aritex has already been working at the Airbus factory in Nantes since 2012 with other projects for the A320neo model.

This contract consolidates the position of Aritex as a premier supplier to Airbus and strengthens its international strategy in the aviation sector. This same year, the company has opened a 7,000 m2 production centre in Shanghai (China) to serve the Asian market. Aritex is implementing several projects for the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) in relation to the C-919 airliner. The COMSA EMTE company is responsible for automated lines that will serve to join the central body (the fuselage that supports the wings of the plane) and the horizontal tail plane of the future Chinese aircraft.

Aritex is also present in Latin America. The company has offices and a production centre in Puebla (Mexico) and started business this year in Sao Paulo (Brazil) in order to position itself with the Embraer aircraft manufacturer.
