On 10 December in Madrid, Adasa, an integral part of the COMSA EMTE Technology-related business operation, will present the results of the ITACA project, an investigation that has been conducted over the past four years into the implementation of new technologies in the treatment of industrial and urban wastewater.
The day will include a presentation of a number of the project’s main findings, focusing on the new opportunities that are opening up in the field of water treatment, combining factors such as efficiency, cost reduction and sustainability and prioritising rational usage, recycling and reuse of resources.
ITACA is led by Adasa and also involves the participation of numerous other companies, among which is Deisa. The project is part of the INNPRONTA programme, sponsored by the Centre for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI) and with the aim of financing industrial research initiatives. ITACA is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Commission and has a total budget of 15.5 million euros.
