Between 16 and 18 February, Adasa participated in the Smart City Expo, a conference aimed at companies and cities that are committed to urban innovation and ‘smart’ initiatives in Latin America. The event, held in Puebla (Mexico), brought together nearly 8,000 attendees and 80 exhibitors from 36 countries.
Adasa’s presence involved a stand and the conducting of a conference on intelligent technologies in the field of water, and how the efficient management of water resources can ensure a quality supply, optimised according to demand and reducing the costs.
Outstanding among the major projects carried out by the company in Mexico is the design, construction and implementation of the automatic water quality monitoring network in the Atoyac River Basin. During the conference, Adasa shared with attendees the results of this pioneering system in Latin America, designed for the Ministry of Environmental Sustainability and Land Management of Puebla.
