COMSA, together with other companies and entities in the sector, has collaborated in the creation of a unique BIM “Building Information Modelling” classification for the railway sector in Spain. This innovative initiative has been promoted by the Railway Innovation Hub and is known as LE BIM strategic line, which will allow the development of BIM technology in civil works.

Collaborating Spanish companies, including COMSA, have provided a high level of knowledge at national and international level, as well as knowledge of the railway infrastructure throughout its life cycle, its commissioning and analysis in accordance with applicable national and European regulations.

Railway Innovation Hub is the Spanish innovation cluster in railway mobility made up of 85 companies that cover the entire value chain of the railway sector. Its mission is to boost technology and knowledge of the sector through the generation of collaborative projects.
