COMSA, in a joint venture with Cuevas, has completed the renovation of the northern railway track at the Raos Central Breakwater in the Port of Santander, helping to boost rail freight transport in Cantabria.
The action has included the construction of a new 2,150 metre concrete slab track, the installation of two turnouts, demolition of the current slab track with its corresponding paving and the improvement of the entire drainage network.
With the execution of this project, we support the port in the promotion of a sustainable means of transport, reducing CO₂ emissions and meeting the new needs of the port’s customers.
