COMSA attended the International Transport Forum that took place yesterday in Moscow. The event was held at the State University of Railway Engineering (MIIT) and devoted this seventh edition to analysing the current situation of high speed (HS) in Russia, as well as its prospects for development in the next few years.
The head of Contracting and Studies at COMSA, Pedro Miguel Rivero, shared the company’s experience in HS construction and maintenance with fellow attendants. After taking the floor, Rivero went through the main projects carried out by COMSA over the last 25 years, during which it has actively contributed to developing high speed in Spain and has been involved in international projects in Australia, Italy and Taiwan.
The forum was attended by distinguished members of the Russian railway sector, such as the Vice-Minister of Transport, the CEO of the Federal Agency for Railway Transport, the Vice-President of Russian Rail and the head of HS projects at that same institution.
Also taking part in the event were companies of the likes of Siemens, Sistra, Alstom and Bombardier, and bodies from various countries, such as France’s SNCF. The Spanish delegation was made up of Adif, Indra and COMSA.
