In Barcelona between 5th and June 7th, COMSA Rail Transport participed in the 14th edition of the International Logistics and Material Handling Exhibition (SIL). This is the leading rail transport trade fair in Spain and Southern Europe. This year, in its most international edition, over 500 companies were involved, 45% of them from abroad.
On the opening day, COMSA Rail Transport had a stand presenting their logistics and transport innovations; they received numerous visits from companies and professionals. The stand was also visited by various personalities, including the Minister of ‘Fomento’, Ana Pastor, who was able to get to know at first hand the company’s latest projects.
At the same time, the director general of COMSA EMTE Transportation and Logistics, Miquel Llevat, participated under the auspice of SIL in the FERRMED conference on rail transport, in which experts discussed the future of the sector. During his speech, Llevat, opted to prioritize those measures that reduce the cost of rail transport and those that give a better price for the end customer. In the same way he also requested the government to ensure the stabilization of the railway model based on fair competition and by focusing on sustainable growth in the mid-term
