COMSA Corporación, in consortium with the Brazilian engineering firm Tiisa Infraestrutura e Investimentos, has concluded the construction works of the second phase of Line 4 of the São Paulo Metro (Brazil), one of the most important infrastructure works of the capital in recent years and that will improve substantially the mobility of the city inhabitants.
The project has consisted in the construction of two new tunnel kilometres, the commissioning of four new stations -Higienópolis-Mackenzie, Oscar Freire, São Paulo-Morumbi and Vila Sônia, three emergency exit shafts, and the execution of an urban bus terminal.
The Line 4 of the São Paulo Metro, which with this extension has a total length of 12,8 km and 11 stations, connects the centre with the southwest of the city providing service to more than 1,7 millions of passengers a day.
