12/14/2017 – The enerTIC platform, specialized in the promotion of technology for the improvement of energy efficiency and sustainability, has named the Director of COMSA Industrial, Pablo Maset, as the best manager of the year 2017 in the Construction and Engineering sector.
The objective of the enerTIC awards is to provide visibility to both public and private sector executives and projects that promote the implementation of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for the benefit of energy sustainability. In this context, the jury valued COMSA Industrial’s creation of the Corporate Venturing program, which aims to develop innovative technological solutions in the field of energy efficiency for application in construction and engineering projects.
In fact, one of the first initiatives launched by this program has been eQualtiq, an advanced software that allows the energy consumption of facilities and tertiary buildings to be optimized following criteria of sustainability and efficiency. This technology includes active control systems to adapt consumption to the real needs of the installation, systems to predict future demands, and recommendation tools in order to propose and implement cost-reduction and saving measures. eQualtiq offers its technology to maintenance companies and energy facility managers under the Software as a Service (SaaS) model, which allows customers to use and exploit the tool via the Internet, ensuring its adaptation to the needs of each building and preserving the privacy of stored information.
In the Construction and Engineering category Pablo Maset competed with Guillermo Renancio, Director of Internet of Things of Efor and Jesus San Segundo, Chief Data Officer of OHL. The award ceremony was held on 12 December at the headquarters of the Secretary of State for the Information Society and Digital Agenda in Madrid.
