COMSA Industrial has been awarded three important AENA projects to be executed at Fuerteventura, Bilbao and Alicante-Elche airports. The actions will modernise the aircraft boarding bridges, improving the performance of the airport infrastructures and guaranteeing faster, safer and more efficient operations.
At Fuerteventura airport, nine new passenger boarding bridges (PBB) will be installed, and six others will be renovated. In addition, fourteen visual berthing guidance systems (SVGA), six aircraft air conditioning systems (PCA) and 400 Hz power supply equipment will be included, combining new supply and reuse of existing components.
At Bilbao airport, the works include the replacement of the boarding bridges at six positions, in addition to the renewal of the PCA, CBTH and SVGA equipment. The 400 Hz power supply equipment will be dismantled, stored and reinstalled to optimise resources.
Finally, at Alicante-Elche Miguel Hernández airport, sixteen air conditioning systems for aircraft (PCA) will be renewed and 16 new docking guides (SVGA) will be installed.
