EMTE Cleanroom Technology shows its expertise in clean rooms in Expoquimia

Between 30 September and 3 October, EMTE Cleanroom Technology, a subsidiary of COMSA EMTE, attended Expoquimia, one of the chemical industry’s most important events held annually in Barcelona, exhibiting its range of services in the field of air-conditioning and clean rooms.

The company presented its experience installing ventilation systems and controlled atmosphere zones to professionals from sectors as diverse as the biopharmaceutical, food, biosecurity and hospital sectors, among others. EMTE Cleanroom Technology provides an integrated turnkey service which includes the installation of clean areas, hydraulic circuits, industrial electricity, technical gases and automatic control, as well as their subsequent maintenance. The Systems area of EMTE was also represented on the stand, with the presence of companies specialised in process control and production systems: Adasa, specialising in hydraulic and environmental technologies; and Deisa, in the treatment and purification of water.

In addition to its presence as an exhibitor, EMTE Cleanroom Technology participated in the Pharma Process sessions. More specifically, Carlos Espina, Business Development Director, and Jordi Sumoy, International GMP Project Manager, analysed the importance of clean rooms in the pharmaceutical process and the need to adapt these facilities in line with the recommendations of the sector.  “We must design and build in a harmonised way incorporating all the applicable legislation given that aggregate of the standards and certifications is what guarantees a controlled environment,” affirmed Sumoy.

The 2014 edition of Expoquimia brought together nearly 38,000 professionals and over 600 exhibitors, and over 160 activities, including congresses, seminars, workshops and presentations, were organised during the four days of the fair.
