COMSA Industrial has presented in the fair the Business Booster (TBB) eQualtiq, an advanced software that allows to optimize the energy consumptions of installations and buildings tertiary, non-residential.
EQualtiq was born as a start-up led and participated by COMSA Industrial, which is funded by Eit InnoEnergy, the European institution that promotes and promotes innovation, entrepreneurship and education in sustainable energy.
As David Palinkas, Technical Staff at eQualtiq explained, this technology allows the cost of building invoices to be reduced by 10 to 20% and it is done through real-time active control systems to adapt consumption to the actual needs of the installation while maintaining comfort, with prediction algorithms to advance future demands, and recommendation tools with the aim of proposing and implementing saving measures.
For this, eQualtiq has devised a set of applications to facilitate the operation of the system and with which its customers can automatically control the energy consumption always. This technology is aimed at buildings of tertiary use of more than 5,000 square meters, and especially the owners of such buildings, whether public administration, real estates, facility managers and maintenance companies and energy managers of facilities.
After this first stage of product presentation, the objective of eQualtiq is now to attract customers to start developing and applying the technology. The company is currently piloting the Institut Català d’Energia (ICAEN) building since May 2016.
Eit InnoEnergy annually celebrates the TBB fair, where it meets the different projects it promotes with the aim of creating networking between the different initiatives and favouring the contact with potential investors. In this edition, which has been held in Barcelona, eQualtiq has been present along with 140 other initiatives.
