02/07/19 – On 25 June past, the chairman of COMSA Corporación, Jorge Miarnau, and the CEO of COMSA Infraestructuras e Ingeniería Industrial, part of COMSA Corporación, Guillermo Lorenzo, took part in the inaugural journey made by the AVE between Madrid and Granada.
The event was presided over by the acting president of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, along with the acting Spanish Minister for Public Works, José Luis Ábalos, who were also accompanied by the Spanish Secretary of State for Infrastructure, Transport and Housing, Pedro Saura, the chairman of Renfe, Isaías Taboas, and the chairwoman of Adif, Isabel Pardo de Vera.
This new connection consists of 126 new kilometres of AVE, of which COMSA and COMSA Industrial have participated just in the inaugurated section, between Antequera and Granada, in which they have carried out the assembly of the track between Tocón and Granada, as well as the construction of the Granada station, the Tocón-Valderrubio Platform, the accesses to Granada and the electrification between Antequera and Granada.
