‘The Investiment and Business Cooperation Forum, Spain-Colombia’, was held in Bogota on 19th and 20th April. The event was chaired by the presidents of both countries, Mariano Rajoy and Juan Manuel Santos. Alfonso Herrero, the director of COMSA EMTE Colombia, also attended having been invited by the Spanish embassy.
The head of the Group in the latin amreican country shared a private breakfast with Rajoy and other directors of Spanish companies operating in the country. During the meeting they discussed the business opportunities offered by the Colombian market especially in the area od infrastructure, information technology and energy.
In his participation in the forum Rajoy underlined the growth and legal and political stability of Colombia. He encouraged Spanish companies to contribute to its development and modernisation. He also invited Colombian companies to consider Spain as a gateway to the European market.
