COMSA Corporación has received the third prize ex aequo in the category ‘Best practice for risk control’ in the IX Edition of the Asepeyo Antoni Serra Santamans Awards for the best prevention projects of companies associated with the Mutua. The awards were delivered yesterday Tuesday, June 15, in an event broadcasted via streaming, and they reward the promotion and dissemination of effective practices, aimed at preventing risks of work accidents and occupational diseases.
The company has obtained the distinction for its project ‘Do not turn your back on overexertion’, a specific plan for the identification and evaluation of ergonomic risk factors that the company launched in 2017. The project is oriented at improvement of the incidence in accidents caused by so-called musculoskeletal disorders. This action plan, which continues to this day, has led to a 33% reduction of accident rate in the incidence of accidents caused by overexertion in the company.
