COMSA Corporación closed 2022 with a turnover of 886 million euros, an increase of 17% compared to the previous year, and a contract portfolio increased to 1,562 million euros. In addition, the company has exceeded by 5% the turnover of 849 million euros that it expected to reach in 2022 according to its 2021-2025 Strategic Plan.
COMSA Corporación focuses its activity on the railway and civil infrastructure and building business, as well as industrial engineering and maintenance, without forgetting the development of the Concessions and Renewable Energies area. At the same time, the group maintains its commitment to innovation through its participation in national and international projects and continues to make progress in its commitment to sustainability, an area in which it is developing a new strategy for the coming years.
At the same time, the company has fulfilled the divestment commitment set out in the latest refinancing agreement approved in the summer of 2021. During 2022, the group divested its stakes in the Polish construction company Trakcja, in the concessionary company of the Murcia Tramway and in the company GMN, dedicated to the recovery of end-of-life tyres.
In this context of a strong capital structure, COMSA Corporación is embarking on a new stage of growth focused on expanding its markets, participating in larger projects, taking a stake in concession assets and investing in railway machinery, among other lines of action.
