This week the final inspection of the new mobile bridge over the Tappström River is being carried out, as well as the widening of the 261-road linking the cities of Ekerö and Lindö, in Sweden.
COMSA has carried out this technically complex project for Trafikverket, in which the existing concrete bridge has been demolished and replaced by a new one, 152 metres long, with a rotating opening span to allow river traffic. Thus, the new structure has four spans, one of them pivoting and metallic.
In addition, 2.3 km of the Ekerövagen road has been widened from one to two lanes in each direction, and a new roundabout has been relocated.
