COMSA Industrial is awarded a new engineering project on the Pacific Connection 3 Highway in Colombia

COMSA Corporación, through its Industrial division in Colombia, reinforces its commitment to responsible growth in 2021 and increases its activity in Latin America with the award of a new contract to carry out the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of the essential equipment for the control system and ITS (Intelligent Traffic Systems) of the Tesalia tunnel, the largest of the Highway Connection Pacific 3 project with 3.4 kilometres in length.

The concession project Autopista Conexion Pacífico 3, which belongs to the Autopistas para la Prosperidad macro-project of the National Infrastructure Agency (ANI), aims to improve and build new roads in 146 kilometres throughout three departments: Caldas, Risaralda, and Antioquia.

Furthermore, the ANI project also includes the concessions Pacífico 1 -Sinifaná and Amagá tunnels-, and Pacífico 2 -Mulatos tunnel-, in which COMSA Corporación is already working and whose goal is to connect the production input centres of the north of Colombia in Magdalena, Atlántico, Bolívar, Córdoba, Sucre, and Antioquia, with the Coffee Zone, Valle del Cauca, and the Pacific.
