COMSA Industrial has been awarded the contract for the execution work for the electromechanical and systems installations for the Madrid Metro system’s new head office.
Within a period of 9 months, the company will execute the building’s electricity, lighting and communications installations, in addition to the installation of fire protection measures and solar panels, soundproofing on the roof and solar control.
The Technological and Administrative Centre of the Madrid Metro System can be found next to Plaza de Castlla and has a surface area of 23,300m2. The new building has been designed to be a Near Zero Energy Building (NZEB) thanks to its design strategy and materials so energy efficiency criteria will be essential during the works.
