11/02/2020 – COMSA Corporación began construction work on the future Tarragona Prison, located in Calle Arquebisbe Josep Pont i Gol of this city.
The building will have a built area of 6,120.40m2 and occupy 4 floors with a capacity for 146 inmates, which could be increased to 219. The works will incorporate energy efficiency measures like the installation of solar panels to generate hot water.
The execution period of the project is 18 months, so the works will finish in summer 2021.
