03/27/2019 – COMSA is participating as an exhibitor in the 18th edition of Exporail, the main fair in the railway industry in Mexico, which is organised by the Association of Mexican Railways and held on 26 and 27 March in the country’s capital.
At its stand, the company exhibits its portfolio of integrated services for high-speed, conventional lines, metros and tramways, which includes from the initial study to the construction of the infrastructure itself, its installations and systems, as well as its subsequent maintenance.
With more than 125 years of specialisation in this field, in recent times, the company has exported its knowledge to strategic markets, such as Mexico, where it has already taken on relevant projects such as the refurbishment on line 12 of the Mexico City metro and the maintenance on line A of the same locality.
COMSA is currently constructing a double-track section to connect the Port of Veracruz with the neighbouring district of Santa Fe in order to strengthen the competitiveness of the equipment, optimise the carrying out of its operations and reduce the obstructions caused by freight trains passing through the city of Veracruz.
At the fair, COMSA also presents its Neoballast technology, a high-quality properties railway ballast, developed by a consortium led by the technical and innovation area of the construction company, which decreases the level of deterioration with respect to the usual aggregates and reduces the noise and vibrations resulting from the circulation of trains.
