COMSA receives the Atlante award for its work in Occupational Health and Safety

11/30/2018 – As part of 9th Atlante Health and Safety Awards, Foment del Treball Nacional (FTN) has recognized COMSA as being a successful example in the effective implementation of occupational health and safety.

COMSA received the award in the category of Awareness, Information and/or Training Initiative for its development of the game “The journey of the hero Luke Healthandsafer“. The jury especially valued the originality of the project and the use of new technologies, based on gamification, to train occupational health and safety technicians of the company and improve their communication skills.

The award-giving ceremony took place last Thursday, 22 November, in FTN’s Sala Magna. Alfonso Argüeso, head of the Occupational Health and Safety department of COMSA Corporación, received the award from Joaquim Llansó, vice-president of FTN, and Agustín Sánchez Toledo, director of the Institute for Occupational Health, Safety and Welfare.

Through its Occupational Health and Safety office (OPRL), FTN works to contribute to the creation of a genuine occupational health and safety culture. Among its initiatives, it highlights the Atlante awards, created in 2002 on a biennial basis, which aim to stimulate, promote and give an incentive to the work carried out by companies in the effective implementation of occupational health and safety.
