COMSA has been awarded the contract to improve accessibility at Pamplona railway station. The aim of the operation is to facilitate the movement of users around the facilities, especially people with disabilities. The project, awarded by ADIF, is worth one million euros and has a completion period of nine months.
Some of the main activities will be the installation of two lifts for access to the underpass, so far only connected by stairs, and the adaptation of the underpass itself. The platforms will also be remodelled to make them safer and to facilitate access to trains. The Pamplona station has two platforms that give access to three of the eleven tracks that cross the terminal.
