Idneo was one of the 13 companies to participate in the 23th Telecommunications and Electronics Forum, an event which takes place every year at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC-Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya). The aim of the event is to forge closer links between the university and the business world and, in particular, to enable future engineers to establish their first contacts with the job market.
Idneo took advantage of its stand to make contact with young talents who can contribute value to its commitment to innovation, especially in the fields of software, hardware and mechanics. Idneo offers job opportunities both to final-year degree and master’s degree students, through work experience agreements, and to recent graduates, who can join the company as junior engineers. In both cases the new recruits are given the opportunity to develop a career in the company.
The Forum’s opening ceremony was attended by various top-level university and industry representatives, such as Ferran Marqués, director of ETSETB-Telecom BCN; Joan Solé, dean of the College of Telecommunications Engineers of Catalonia (Col·legi d’Enginyers de Telecomunicació de Catalunya); and Josep Bosch, president of the Spanish Association of Telecommunications Engineers in Catalonia (Asociación Española de Ingenieros de Telecomunicaciones en Catalunya).
