On June 21 and 22 EMTE Sistemas participated in Zurich (Switzerland) at WinCC OA User Days, organized annually by Siemens for users of its SCADA system for monitoring and remote control of facilities. Invited by the German multinational, the company used its stand to present the model developed for the Málaga Metro, based on the esTRAUSS platform.
The event, attended by major companies that use the Siemens system, provided an excellent opportunity for EMTE Sistemas to publicise their experience in monitoring and control systems in railway environments.
In its current version the esTRAUSS platform has been developed on the Siemens WinCC OA product (an innovative SCADA) and has been adapted to the requirements of Málaga Metro. The model, pending implementation, allows remote control of fixed infrastructure facilities, such as escalators, lifts, ventilation, access control or emergency doors.
